The Dance

I took my 50mm lens with me to Tyler State Park a few times this week. It's a large park with plenty of wooded trails and a creek. These two trees were standing alone in a grassy clearing and for some reason they remind me of a dancing couple. What you see is all that could fit in the lens from where I was standing. I like the way this looks in Black and white but I like the horizontal layers of color behind the trees even better.

It looks like a couple to me as well. The one tree has it's limbs all over the over...

You just had to have that glorious spring green in the shot. I love the way the foreground tree appears to be flaunting herself!

New Reality TV show - "Dancing With the Trees" - love it! I think you are right about the colors - they add a certain dimension to the picture.

The layers of color in the background certainly do offer dimension and contrast...and, what great trees you found! I can even hear the music!

Two very different ways to be a tree... You are right, the layers of color in background 'make' the picture!

I posted my Weekend Reflections. When you have time please come see the Iron Horse. It's spectacular.

James, «Louis» doesn't have your e-mail address - he's wondering if you'll be joining in on the Sunday Bridge meme.

I like the title and the association. Also the contrast between the new green leaves and grass in the forground and the bare trees in the background.

I like that. I posted some dancing sycamores a few months ago. Trees definitely dance with each other.
